Solar Decathlon 2013 Update

As the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2013 begins later this week at Great Orange Park in Irvine, CA GriD architects partner Brian Grieb will be there. Similar to his role in the first ever Solar Decathlon China earlier this year, he will be one of three industry leaders serving on the Protest Resolution Committee for the competition. Grieb Presents at Design DC

Today Brian along with WaterShed colleague Amy Gardner and Pepco partners Rob Stewart and Shuk Chuk presented a case study on the award winning WaterShed titled “Residential Energy Conservation, Power Distribution and Management” at Design DC conference at the Washington Convention Center.

Grieb Travels to China For Inaugural Solar Decathlon

GriD co-founder and principal Brian Grieb recently returned from the first ever Solar Decathlon China were he was invited to serve on the Protest Resolution Committee for the competition.   During the 10 day competition modeled after the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon, Brian was part of a 3-person committee which reviewed and provided decisions on protests filed by competing teams during the event.
