Washington D.C. is the fourth location for the Death & Co brand that began in New York City and has expanded to Los Angeles and Denver.  We served as the architect of record for the new venue which transformed the existing second story destination.

GriD partnered with AAmp Studio, who was the designer for the project, to take it from the conceptual phases through construction. The scope of work included new restrooms, demolition of the existing second floor space, refurbishment of the existing exterior patio area, and the implementation of the new main lounge area.

OLD MEETS NEW

The result is a compliment of Death & Co staples mixed with some elements that were pulled from the existing space, like the Columbia Room mural, and the connection to the neighboring areas through the large interior window and outdoor patio.
