Merkle RMG came to GriD with a desire to reimagine their existing building in Hagerstown, MD to better reflect the spirit of their work. The existing structure is made up of a large production warehouse and a smaller ‘Butler’ building which includes housing reception, waiting areas, and the main office suite where staff and visitors enter. The exterior only transformation wraps the nondescript ‘Butler’ building in a dynamic perforated metal screen.
